Diagnostic Hearing Test: Performed for new sales only. Includes thorough case history and lifestyle analysis, otoscopy, immittance testing, pure-tone (air/bone conduction), MCL, word discrimination test (monaural/binaural/multiple levels), multi-frequency loudness measurements (LDL), hearing aid validation and in-clinic demo (optional), test results analysis. May include free hearing aid evaluation, rehabilitation plan consult (where applicable).
Hearing Check / Consultation: Available once annually or at clinic discretion. May include in-situ hearing screening, in-booth hearing screening, hearing aid cleaning, otoscopy, sound adjustments, rehabilitation plan renewal, and sound check for the purpose of cleaning and adjusting hearing aids for any new hearing loss or referring to specialist due to unexpected pathologies.
Wax Removal: Offered to those who have already purchased hearing aids at UBHearing. Charge is the same for 1 or 2 ears. Available once every 6 months.
Hearing Aid Cleaning: Hearing aids cleaned, disinfected, mics vacuumed, wax guard and dome change, receiver change (if needed), listen check. No sound adjustments included.
Device Reconnecting: Reconnect hearing aids to cell phones or remote controls.
Drop Off Service: Drop off hearing aids before noon to be serviced by 1pm, same day.
