DO YOU QUALIFY TO SAVE 50% TO 80% ON HIGH QUALITY, TOP-BRAND HEARING AIDS?
TO QUALIFY, PLEASE AFFIRM ALL OF THE FOLLOWING STATEMENTS…

Ontario hearing clinics are staffed by licensed Hearing Instrument Specialists (HIS) treating age related and noise-induced hearing loss in adults only. An HIS provides a copy of the hearing test results with an accompanying form to be signed by a family doctor. This form satisfies the requirement for a medical device prescription as per Health Canada and insurers. Those without a family doctor may need to attend a walk-in clinic to obtain the medical device prescription (only after being tested) or may be offered an alternative means to obtain a prescription.

The process is as follows:

  • First Visit (90 minutes):

Test and Hearing Aid Selection

  • Second Visit (45 minutes):

Fit and program the hearing aids.
Training on use and care.

  • Third Visit (30 minutes):

Adjustment & retraining

A hearing test is a medical document that expires after a limited time. If a purchasing decision is not made in a timely manner, a hearing test is required to be performed again before a hearing aid purchase. UBHearing™ provides one free hearing test to each client. Subsequent hearing tests may be performed for a fee, only at our discretion. If you have any reluctance to commit to a purchase within 30 days, we strongly recommend you do not book a hearing test at UBHearing until you are ready to make that commitment.

Hearing aids are medical devices and, as such, clients may require multiple visits to the clinic for a variety of reasons such as adjustments and repairs over the lifetime of a hearing aid for successful outcomes. UBHearing provides video tutorials to clients to clean for their own hearing aids and otherwise offers drop off service, convenient and ideal for locals, that is not well suited to clients coming from a distance. Clients must live within a minimum distance of 45 minutes of their chosen clinic.

It is unethical to sell hearing aids to those who are unable to be successful with them.  An ability to perform daily care, frequent cleaning and to insert and manage hearing aids independently is essential to qualify for our program.  UBHearing provides in-person training and online tutorial videos to enable clients to clean their own hearing aids rather than requiring frequent visits for the purpose of cleaning hearing aids.  If you are curious as to what level of ability is required, here is a link to one of our cleaning videos:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b43YdakFEn0   Those who are able to provide a family member or friend who can commit to providing regular hearing aid maintenance and attending all appointments may still be eligible for UBHearing discounts.  UBHearing does not provide unlimited appointments, even for a fee.  An ability to clean your own hearing aids will be critical to your success.

Those whose ears may be infected, experiencing drainage, blocked with wax, are highly sensitive or easily irritated are not suitable candidates for our program of care. Similarly, those who have been referred to an ENT to have an issue addressed with their ears must wait to be cleared by their ENT before proceeding. When and if ear issues are resolved, UBHearing may then be able to consider providing hearing aids.

Fluctuating or unstable hearing cannot be treated successfully with hearing aids. Those with unstable hearing loss are not suitable candidates for our program of care. If you are currently working with an ENT or waiting to do so, you will need to be cleared by an ENT for hearing aids before booking your appointment.

IF YOU ARE ABLE TO AFFIRM ALL THE ABOVE STATEMENTS, YOU MAY QUALIFY FOR 50% TO 80% OFF THE COST OF HEARING AIDS.  CONTACT US TODAY TO BOOK YOUR FREE HEARING TEST!
